"Our group of 8 have just returned to the US after 9 wonderful days in Ireland. We began our planning 5 months ago with help from Maria at Irish Tourism. Our instructions to Maria were basic. 3-4 star hotels, 1 night in a castle, lots of sightseeing, music and pubs. We had a private van and driver/ guide. We received more than any of us expected. John Dunphy was our driver and guide. John also leads golf tours and we will use him in the future. We had few expectations and only one great experience followed by another. If we found an event or activity that was not on our itinerary John worked it in. Every place we went ,the hotel hosts and restaurant staff were all welcoming and gracious. The Irish people are proud of their history and kind to strangers. I don't know if other guides are as good as John, his knowledge and humor never got stale. He is probably one of a kind. "I booked the April 22 2020 Scotland Shetland tour with Knitting tours for my daughter and myself. Mainly because of all the glowing reviews. Knitting tours canceled the tour due to Covid 19. They offered a credit for another trip, however we cannot go on any other dates in 2020 and of course they don’t have a 2020 itinerary. I asked for a full refund to be credited to my card. They insist on keeping the deposit, so their company can stay up and running. They apparently have no insurance of any kind. They say they have credited my account with the remaining balance. THEY HAVE NOT. I have had to contact my bank to pursue the matter. I would certainly think through booking with this company.Their attitude seems to be, once you pay them, they can keep as much of your funds as they choose. I paid them over $8000 in American funds, so far no return what so ever ever"

"My husband and I just returned from our 9 day self drive tour of Southern Ireland. There are simply no words to describe it! Absolutely breathtaking! Elaine at Irish Tourism was amazing! Customized our itinerary to fit all of our needs and checked in along the way to ensure everything went as planned. Could not have asked for anything better! "Sonia and I just got back from our 8 night self-driving tour of Ireland. It was everything that we imagined and then some. Was the most organized, trouble-free vacation that we've ever been on and we have Tina O"Connor to thank for that. Tina put up with my myriad of questions without complaint and pulled off the perfect vacation. From the time that we landed in Dublin until the day we left Dublin, everything came off without any issues. We changed our itinerary to include a night at Dromoland Castle and oh my, was it worth it. Please pamper yourself here if you get the chance. Tina will set that up for you. We will be back. Couple of highlights that we want to revisit that rain prevented us from seeing and Sonia wants to return to Inch Beach near Dingle. Remember drivers, go left and look right in the rotaries (roundabouts). The country was amazing, the people were amazing and the food was amazing. Thank you Tina and thank you Ireland.
