"A very scenic place and historically important too. The best time to visit here is evening. Plenty of parking is available here. The road is kind of narrow but that’s same everywhere in Ireland."
"Great family day out. Spectacular views of clifs and sea. Plenty of walking, so i recommend good shoes. There's gift shop and restaurant on premises. Fish and chips were great value."
"When arriving in Ireland I.asked if you could only see one thing during your time here what would you see? Mizzen Head was the reply. Oh wow they were right. Although most views in Ireland are breathtaking Mizen head has to be one of the most amazing! Staff are very knowledgeable and very happy to inform you of the history when asked. There is a cafe and shop at the visitors centre. The walks are paths that make it very accessible for all. Although Mizen Head was not the only place we visited it was one of the most beautiful places. A definite place to visit!."
"Amazing scenery and historically very interesting, could do with updating some of the displays. Some amazing fact on Marconi and the building of Fastnet light house. Nice cafe and gift shop not hugely expensive and lots of parking. Well worth the very scenic drive out to here."
"This rates as one of the best places we visited during our 2 week holiday in Ireland recently. It opens at 10.30am and costs €7.50pp. There is a coffee shop and curio shop at the visitor centre. There is quite a big parking area and it got very busy very quickly but there are many viewing paths so one doesn't feel crowded. Set aside at least 1.5 to 2hrs to walk all the paths , some are quite steep but really worth it. The views are different from the different points hence the suggestion to visit each one. We were fortunate to also see a basking shark and some seals. One is able to get a feel of what it was staying at the signal post by visiting the buildings near the lighthouse after which you can venture to most south western point of Ireland"
