"This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. It doesn’t look all that special, but the food was phenomenal. Fresh, flakey and fragrant fish served with array of accompaniments. Stand out mash potatoes and a Michelin worthy caper sauce. I could have drank it. Staff are friendly and accommodating."
"My wife, my son and his wife and I had lunch there on St. Patrick's Day. Food was very good. Fish very fresh. We then went out on the curb to watch the parade. People were so friendly. Felt like we were at home. :)"
"Whenever you're in the surrounding of Cahersiveen, it's worth your while to pay a visit at Camo's. Named after the grandfather of the current chef Rory McCarthy, this lovely bistro/café is run by very friendly people. Due to the absence of a cook we couldn't enjoy the fried fish of the day, but the wraps, sandwiches and Bombay chicken salad were very tasty and fresh. We enjoyed our lunch and can recommend a stop at this place. Even if you just want a simple cup of tea or a full Irish breakfast, the staff will go all the way to help the customers out. The homemade relishes (especially the mixed pepper and onion) and the dressings are yummy and you can buy them at the till."
"Stopped in here on our drive around the Ring of Kerry. My wife and I both had the fish & chips. We were both very happy as the fish had a great tasting batter, homemade tarter sauce, and great chips. The staff was very friendly and attentive and even answered some of my questions about spots along the drive. Would definitely recommend if you're in this area looking for a meal."
"Absolutely delicious! I can’t believe we discovered this place randomly on our way to Kerry cliffs. Worth a visit for sure."
