Reviews of Lord Brandons Lodge
"We thought it was going to be inside but it’s an open air spot. They have various drinks and food available. We had Irish coffees and it was perfect after a chilly/rainy boat ride over."
"Beautiful location, but wheelchair unfriendly. Worst of all it is a new building built by OPW with very little consideration for accessibility. How is a state agency allowed to build a facility like this without accessible toilets?Food and coffee is not great either. Sandwiches in cling film etc. Well what can we expect from the OPW? Not fit for purpose."
"Very nice people, and great tee! They saved during a hike last week, I was very happy about that!"
"Great trekking trails in this beautiful part of the country. The only issue is that the cafe at the end of the trail doesn't take card payments so remember to bring cash."
"Beautiful spot. We stopped to change from the jaunty car from the Dunlow Gap to the boat to Ross castle. We ate lunch here. It was such a perfect well kept spot for a short break. They maintain the property well."
