"What a location! We visited Arundels twice during our stay in Ahakista. On the first occasion we had dinner, the food was very good and the service was exceptional. The only disappointment was that we were sat upstairs (which doesnt have the same charm and atmosphere as the downstairs bar). We returned the following evening to enjoy a pint as the sun set and it was incredible. Wrap up warm and grab a table down by the water's edge. This is the perfect location for sundowners."
"Had lunch here. Fish and chips. Good service and food. Not too expensive. Would stop there again. There was some live music. Quite a small pub so I guess you would need to book. Food is not served in the garden across the road."
"Lovely view, most delicious food and very friendly staff! Probably the best crab sandwich that I've ever had! Highly recommend :)"
"Amazing family-run pub and restaurant with lovely staff and friendly people. Definitely the nicest dinners and for the best price we had on our trip (driving around Ireland for three weeks). All the food tastes very fresh and they get their ingredients locally (listed at the bottom of ethe menu). They didn’t have food on offer every day when we visited (September) so make sure to check ahead if you want to eat here. We went back to eat here twice during our stay, as well as returning for pints the next day when the restaurant was closed. I forgot to take pictures the first night but we had nduja mussels and the burger which were both great, I got extra bread to soak up more of the mussels’ sauce. The next night we had a great crab sandwich and the mussels marinière (with some chips to soak up that sauce too). Must say the brown bread is extremely good as well, I couldn’t stop eating it! The pub itself is lovely and charming inside, and there’s lots of seating outside, as well as down by the water. It was really warm one day so we had pints and swam in the bay right from the beer garden! The pints here are extremely delicious as well and always have a perfect pour (Guinness and Murphy’s anyways). Definitely stop by here if you’re in the area, great food, great vibes, great pints!"
