"Wonderful place, well located in a beautiful valley along a lake. Mountain views all around. Food is solid & home cooked with a priority on seafood. Her Fish & Chips were nicely battered, crispy and flavorful. The cauliflower soup was great as well, well balanced flavors. The lady is very friendly and I'm glad we stopped by for a late lunch."

"The best place for finger licking food in Glanmore lake area is this homestyle restaurant. Josie and her daughters were super friendly. Must visit, especially if you are hungry after a long hike."

"Visited during October Bank Holiday, after driving via the Healy Pass and then further through the narrow road I thought I am going to the end of the world restaurant. However on arrival we were welcomed by lovely waiting staff. Our Covid status was verified and we could sit down, ready to order. I decided to go for Soup of the day and Monk fish. Have to say both were amazing. Monk fish was nicely done and wasn't soaked in deep oil. Fires (chips) were chunky and fresh. This place is very remote , so there is limited numbers of tables, I do recommend to call in advance to book the table."
