Reviews of Son of a Bun
"I recently visited Son of a Bun Burger Place in Cork and had an amazing experience. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive. But most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! I tried the Stack burger and it was cooked to perfection - juicy and full of flavor. The fries were crispy and golden, and the milkshake was thick and creamy. If you're a burger lover, I highly recommend checking out Son of a Bun Burger Place. It's the perfect spot for a casual lunch or dinner with friends and family. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is top-notch. Plus, the restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Cork, making it easy to access. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning soon!"
"Staple place to go for burgers in Cork. Usually a bit busy and don’t take reservations so be prepared. The burgers are always really good and well prepared. Not overly cooked and not greasy and pretty filling. The vibe inside is always good to and service is quick. There is usually a new burger every month but actually this is a rotation of burgers but it’s nice to have a different option every now and then. Great location and nice amount of space. Enjoy this place."
"Absolutely magnificent burgers. All beef is ground fresh in house daily, nice selection of beer, all desserts made in house as well. I went with the "special of the month" the Monster Mash, I would definitely eat here again and recommend for anyone visiting Cork and looking for a great burger in a great atmosphere!"
"The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was hot outside but had been drizzling with rain so they helped us to pull some tables under the canopy and got us paper towels to wipe down the seats for our group of 8 people. The burgers are very big so I would recommend sharing chips/other sides. Gluten free buns are also available. Overall it was a great experience and good value for money."
"Great atmosphere and cool environment. Beers are limited to a small variety. We have tasted Franciscan chieftain. It was fruity and delicious. You can feel the grapefruit tones when u sip the first rounds. While waiting we had chicken strips which was tasty, crunchy and delicious. Then we have ordered cheesy and veggie burgers with parmesan fries. Fries were great but hamburgers were normal. We liked them but here was nothing special and spectacular with it. We have paid 60€ for 4 beers, 2 burger’s 1 potatoes and 1 chicken strips. Prices were above the market. We were sitting outside luckily, because ventilation in the inside area is not successful. It smells vinegar in the inside. Staff is great, they are really friendly and fun."
