Starcamp Summer Camps

"My 6yr old attended Star camp in Ennis, Co.Clare & loved it. There were alot of kids there. The staff/leaders were kept on their toes. Maybe they could have done with some more staff, as they were very busy. Katelynn (sorry if spelled incorrectly) - was so lovely, polite and professional. My son was up early and so excited to go in to have fun. They performed a lovely short concert on the last day. They were all brilliant.Thank you."

"Really, really terrible from the start. Long wait to register children with no parking facilities. The children were shouted at by the coaches regularly. There was a lot of poorly supervised free time where my child (9) had to look after younger children. The staff seemed very young and poorly trained. They were not motivated enough to stand up to greet the children and spent a lot of their time flicking their phones and ignoring the children. I didn’t send my daughter on the final day as she was so upset to hear the coaches shouting at very young children. I rang to complain but received no call in return and no response to emails. I am a primary school teacher and was appalled at the lack of care and supervision at this camp. Accident waiting to happen."

"My son and daughter attended Starcamp in Douglas this summer. The camp was just wonderful, and the entire staff were friendly and professional. My children absolutely had great fun and got a welcome confidence boost especially during these Covid times. I cannot recommend the camp enough."

"I booked and paid in full for a child to go into a camp and had to cancel 3 days later (12 days before beginning of camp) - emailed to cancel (with 12 days notice) and they only refund 50%. Shocking behaviour. I would understand if I was giving no notice and had cost them but the camp is not booked out and they have 2 weeks to fill the spaces. keeping money for doing precisely nothing. will not be recommending or booking again. **UPDATE** they left me short on my 50% refund (not by much but it's the principle at this point) and have now decided to ignore any mails I have sent them. So far 3 emails have gone unanswered."
