"We stopped in here after a long day of travelling. We were all pretty exhausted and hadn't eaten proper food for hours, so it was great to see that they had a very good menu of pizzas and all types of burgers, with something to suit everyone. We all enjoyed our food. The atmosphere was what every Irish pub aspires to have. Every member of staff that we met was friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty. The landlady treated our children like so well, they thought they'd died and gone to heaven. I think if they weren't so exhausted they would have stayed with her. The pub is so clean and, unlike so many other pubs, it doesn't have that dank smell of old spilled beer or a heavy smell of food. It was so relaxing. Perfect temperature. Chatty, welcoming locals. We were only there for a few hours, but, the place and the people – staff and customers all made me proud to be Irish. There was nothing I could fault about the place."
"Staff had bad attitude ordered coffee and never got it and asked if they had a bowl of water for my dog and they laughed at me even though they had a sign up behind the bar saying dogs are my favourite type of people very poor experience!"
"Lovely local pub. Great staff. Nice pint at very reasonable prices."
"One of the best pubs I’ve ever had to pleasure to visit. Was there for the October bank holiday weekend. Gina and her staff were so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t do enough for us. And the locals were amazing too. So friendly and chatty. A gorgeous pint of stout at €4.30 was great value. Great pub grub too. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Top marks and great craic."
