"I’m usually not one to give a bad review on any business but I was so glad to get back to my usual barbers immediately to sort out the mess this lot made. It’s not rocket science, shave the back and sides and cut the top The particular barber was very young and couldn’t understand English very well, I asked for the top to be short so he cut a short bit off, asked again could he cut some more and took and even tinier bit off, after 4 attempts of explaining what I wanted then I had to go as it was a fruitless exercise. Shocking service and a complete waste of money"

"For €23, you don’t get a whole lot. I never experienced such a quick fade in my life, the sides and back looked ok however I had to ask to have it blended more on the sides or risk looking like I placed a bowl on my head and shaved the back and side myself. For €17 at a new barber in carrigaline Main Street, you get a brilliant fade, cut throat razor lining all round the ears down the beard, neck tidied up etc. The finish is better and I’ll defo make the time to go back again. Regarding BB Mahon, it is a very challenging spot for barbers. It’s extremely cramped and when you have multiple parties related to each individual getting their hair cut, I think it veers on the dangerous side with so many people in a confined space. Towards that end I wanted to get off the chair and leave as it was rather chaotic."

"I would give it a zero the worse Barbers in the world. First time in my life I have got 2 haircuts in a day butchered my hear didn't even blend it lines were all off went to another hair dresser right after he was laughing he actually took a photo of it and sent it to a few of his hair dresser friends they couldn't believe it that was actually a hair dresser who done it. I have done better hair cut in myself during lock down Steve. Wonder would of doing a better job ."

"I wish I read these reviews first. I told him what I wanted, to keep my fringe and the first thing he did was put a razor straight through it, I'm not too vain when it comes to my hair so I let him continue, I actually had to tell him to fix one side when he thought he was finished, his hands smelled very unclean. I'm now home and I can see how awful a job he did. will have to get it fixed tomorrow. do not go here!"

"Arrived with my 4 year old son on a Saturday at 930am. Asked for trim for my son but the guy said no kids haircuts on weekends. There wasn’t a single customer in the shop and he wouldn’t even look up from texting on his phone. Kids are in school Mon-Fri so would assume weekend would be optimum time for kids haircuts! Went to Grafton Barber in Ballincollig instead and they were excellent. And they had plenty kids there on a Saturday"
