"I was in Cafe today around 11. 30 am and staff member was rude, no interest in job whatsoever. I asked for butter with scone and she pointed. I asked for a bag leaving and no communication so rude. Another lady sat beside me and her bun was out of date so staff member never apologised just said pick something else. She got a tea cake which was toasted but was nearly burned when she got it. That lady was to complain I hope she did"
"Awful experience today. Handed in €20.30 for two items which cost €10.30....refused to give me my 10 euro change. The manager informed me I did not have access to the cctv but only on request by the gardai.... Which I did, matter ongoing. Manager showed me a screen shot of someone's hand holding a red blob of a note? As I withdrew money from the atm I knew exactly what cash and notes I had. The gardai were excellent as I would not ordinarily complain about ten euro. Its a matter of principle. I pity elderly people shopping there. Why is there not a scanner for notes submitted to cashiers.? Wrong order presented for my Xmas order after that which irritated the staff... Some staff were very cranky, not very busy when I was there. Another manager informed that tills are not tallied at the end of the day?? This was 8.30am, not too difficult to check the tills considering most people pay with cards which I will do from now on. Thankfully we reduced our order this year. Shop local, shop irish."
"Not a happy place to go shopping. And items are over priced for the quality you get. Fitting rooms were dark and we must get out of the room to see the right colour. It was for autistic day I know. Just 1 hour these people to shop quietly but trying things on in the dark doesn't help them either. And why just 1 hour and not keep count with them everyday?"
"I went to the food department. I am a fan of skimmed milk and wish M&S would provide the small bottles of milk. I live alone and the small bottles suit my lifestyle. Other than that, everything was very good. The young man on the till was a joy."
"Mainly very good quality, but higher prices than in other supermarkets. But you can buy food that others don't offer. Wide choice of ready-to-cook meals and Cuisines. Minus - they don't offer club membership in Ireland and voucher system is poor, you get 5 euro off your next purchase no matter whether you spent 35 euro or 200."
