"Yes, a real authentic Castle that you can rent for a nominal fee, it was soooo cosy, for anyone who ever wanted to stay in a real Castle this is it! 500m from the N25 between Castlemartyr and Middleton and set in beautiful countryside, it is so peaceful both inside and out. 1st floor bedroom includes a bath that can be converted to a bed, the four poster bed which was both beautiful and comfortable, there is a bathroom off this room, upstairs to the 2nd floor is the living room with stove and beautiful glass roof that is amazing during the day and night when you can look up at the Stars, there is a toilet off this floor too, up a very steep winding stairs is the roof terrace with panoramic views of East Cork, the castle is rustic, original and romantic, we will definitely be booking this again, This castle is a national treasure and I take my hat off to the owner for restoring it and giving guests a chance of a lifetime experience, this is an amazing project, well done and thank you"

"We stayed here through Airbnb and it was an amazing experience! It’s an old renovated watch tower able to host up to 4 people. The amnesties are berg basic which makes it even more realistic. We stayed one night and can definitely recommend it! The stairs are very step and narrow, therefore not recommend for old people or little kids."
