Reviews of Luachra Lodge
"Patricia and Mike are great hosts and our stay in Luachra Lodge was absolutely spot on. Special mention to Kofi and Holly, two adorable and well behaved dogs The house is very nice and spacious and the room was very clean and comfortable (including beds and pillows). Nice and healthy homemade breakfast. Situated 20 minutes from Killarney in a very calm area. Highly recommended"
"Luacha Lodge is a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful home, beautiful scenery. Patricia and Mike are amazing hosts. I can't wait to visit again soon."
"The rooms are lovely, the scenery is amazing (one can see the mountains from there). The couple running the lodge is very charismatic, they bake excellent bread and cake, and they even showed us their hens and cattle at their farm down the road, which is beautiful as well. To top it off they have two interested and well mannered dogs, they are also beautiful. Kilarney National park is a mere 15 kilometres away. We really enjoyed our time there and I'd advice anyone to book a room there."
"This is a very peaceful B&B. Great hosts that can give you all the information you will ever need on the area and things to do. The room was very clean and accommodating. The room had great space to it and was not too small like some other places. Do not let the distance from town dictate your interest in this place. It is easy to find and is situated in the beautiful country side. We will be back on our next trip."
"My wife and I stayed in Luachra Lodge for 4 nights and we had the one of the best travel experiences there. Patricia was a superb host with high positive energy and great cooking skills. We had some meaningful conversations about Ireland, about life and culture etc together with some other guests over the dinning table. We paid extra so that we could try Patricia's home-made dinners. It was delicious and inspiring. Do not miss the the breakfast every morning as most food were home made, some ingredients were directly delivered from their family farm. It was humble, minimalist with dedication. Patricia and Michael also have two dogs, Harley & Jackson, they are most friendly dogs we have met. When we went back to Dublin after the stay, we wished we had stay longer time in Luachra Lodge. The stay in their home made our trip so special and memorable, it's highly recommended. P.s. If you want to see how farm works or even want to help, you should try to ask Michael to bring you along."
