"Bernie made us feel at home right from the moment we met her. Our room was so comfortable with our view overlooking the lovely harbour with Sherkin island in the background. Bed clothes and towels were high standard. Radiator on in the bathroom every morning even though it was August making it very cosy. I choose scrambled eggs for breakfast, the best I have ever tasted. My partner went for the lovely full irish. Beautiful brown bread too and again a table by the window overlooking the harbour. Due to covid no tea/coffee facilities in our room but Bernie has all laid out in a private stting room which you can access at all time during your stay. With a wealth of knowledge of the area we learned quite a lot and were very happy to take advice from Bernie on walks and especially a trip to Sherkin Island."

"Bernadette, the landlady, made us so welcome. The room was cosy and clean. Our room had a lovely view of Balitmore Harbour. It was the perfect place from which to explore the south west coast of the wild atlantic way. Also perfect to come back to, to chill and relax at the end of the day. We will definitely return here next time we are down that way."
