Cedar Boathouse Overlooking Baltimore & West Cork

"We had a booking made for a busy bank holiday weekend this coming June only to receive a text (four weeks after I made my booking) to let me know it was being cancelling as they were double booked. Richard took no accountability for the error and merely said this was “out of his hands”, appauling customer service! I highlighted it was highly unprofessional that I was only hearing this 4weeks after my booking was made and I was informed by Richard this delay was because he was “on holidays”. Having this information sent to me over text message without the decency for a phone call was also unacceptable customer service when I mentioned this to Richard and asked he to call me to discuss he said he was “working in a shop”. As the weekend in question was a bank holiday and we were not given adequate notice of the cancellation we were unable to find alternative suitable accommodation. Hugely disappointing! Personally I was shocked a provider operating at this level is even listed on the booking. com platform but my advice to all would be steer clear in order to avoid disappointment."
