"Sherkin has limited accommodation options since the hotel closed, but thankfully the North Shore saved the day for us! Very welcoming hosts and a wonderful breakfast. The American style pancakes with maple syrup were amazing! They also serve dinner, but I didn't eat there as I was deeply engrossed in consuming pints at the Jolly Roger pub! But if dinner is of the same quality as breakfast, I imagine it is amazing! Would definitely return and can thoroughly recommend."
"This cafe had best gluten free selection of cakes, I've seen for a while. Imagine trekking to the very end of an island of just 110 people and finding a cafe with 3 kinds of GF cakes! I had the Chocolate & Lime. Great coffee too and a lovely chat with Kathy and Mick who own and run the North Shore and Cafe Bruno."
"Beautiful location, laid back atmosphere and comfy beds. We booked in for an evening meal for 8 people, we were seated together and it was delicious: lasagne, salad, garlic bread, choice of dessert, plus tea/coffee. Kathy and Daniel have a lovely easy going style that's exactly right for this place. Recommend."
