"Lovely B&B, very very clean and the hosts were wonderful. Breakfast was outstanding, I had rice Krispies and a full Irish to follow. The bacon was obviously local and the pudding too I think, the sausages were perfect too and they didn’t fry the tomato which would destroy the fruit. I loved it. I wish I had more time to spend there."
"Our experience at the Druid Cottage was phenomenal (Fall 2021), and we did not want to leave. Philip was a wonderful host (we did not meet Bernadette). We loved chatting with him and hearing his adventures, and he offered practical and helpful advice on activities. The room was adorable and comfortable (small, yes, but that's the charm of it we loved). We also loved meeting Tom, their kitty. We fell in love with Kenmare, and the Druid cottage only added to the experience."
"Philip and Bernadette are wonderful hosts who delighted us with their perfect breakfasts and very helpful hints on how to travel the surrounds taking in the best sights in safe and interesting ways. We were introduced to others at our long breakfast table..adventurous people from all over Europe..this was a wise move easing any awkwardness. The only thing I missed was a stair rail as I have uncooperative knees and the stairs are quite steep. We strongly recommend Druid Cottage and would love to return soon."
