"Mary is a super friendly helpful lady and the breakfast was very nice too. The room had a beautiful view of the sea and bere island, but it is also located along a busy road. (ok at night) The rooms themselves are cozy but a bit outdated. We found a bad mattress and the damp smell in our room. Compared to other b and bs we did on the island, we found the price to quality a bit on the high side."
"I first stayed in Realt Ma Mara in 1979 as a nine year old. 38 years later I continue to stay there with my wife Michele and our four children aged 4,7,8, 10. The welcome here is tremendous. The rooms are comfortable with excellent views of Bere Island. Breakfast is fantastic with beautiful fresh local produce. A stat in my view is well worth trying. A fantastic experience. John Neville"
