"The hosting family is very warm and welcoming, the room was beautiful and the bathroom large. We really enjoyed our night at the old cable historic house. It was an extra plus that the family’s daughter is a chef that makes pasta herself. Definitely worth trying!"

The fresh seafood pasta and garlic bread were incredible, with a very generous amount of seafood in the pasta. "I couldn't recommend the Old Cable House enough, they were so accomodating & such lovely hosts. The food was DIVINE & the hosts were very generous with their time & advice as we were working in the area. To top off that generosity the food was delicious at each meal & the rooms are lovely, large & comfortable. Very kind people who make you feel at home with them. Little touches like putting down the fire for us in the evenings were so kind & appreciated. Wifi connection is great here too if stopping for work. This is a great place to add as a stop an a tour of Kerry, whether for work or pleasure you won't be disappointed"
"Really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a family room (I think). It was very roomy, with comfortable bedding, tea and coffee facilities, TV and an enormous bathroom and shower (great temperature control and water pressure). Lots of car parking and easy to find. Staff were very friendly and looked after us during our stay. Best bit was the included breakfast - choice of full Irish, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon (YUM) or pancakes with Banana and chocolate sauce."
