Reviews of SPAR Forsbrook
"Some staff are lovely and polite. But 1 or 2 are very rude and seem very fed up and impatient. Not long ago I came in around 10oclock (1hour before close) and stood infront of the post office to put money in, just for the lady behind the counter to close it infront of me (it was open and functioning when I arrived) and then tell me it is closed. I have also noticed the shop closes earlier to what it says on google, as sometimes I will come at 10:30 and the shop is closed already (even though it says the shop should close at 11:00). Don't get me wrong some of the staff are lovely and will put in the extra mile to give a good experience, but some are lazy and don't want to even communicate with you about anything. Rule of thumb: Don't go into customer service if you don't like customers. Please communicate this to some of your troubled staff."
"Absolutely cracking shop, the 200% markup is a fair price. Also it smells. They should get ksome Yankee candles in there, or even better frebreeze."
"Each time I visit here I'm astounded by the incompetence and rudeness of the staff. I've just returned from using the post office here. Whilst standing in the queue a staff member asked me to come around to the side window in order to be served. I looked behind me and there were two people there so in order to keep my distance I decided to walk forward choosing to pass just one person who had been served and was now leaving. Wendy who was serving at the second till decided to comment loudly to the other staff member "See, that's what I mean, there's no point, you might as well save your breath." The women then began moaning between themselves whilst I was being served and continued doing so whilst I was leaving. I have never been so insulted by shop staff. It is physically impossible to keep 1 metre apart in this store because the aisles are too narrow and there is merchandise everywhere around the tills impeding your exit. FAO Wendy: I was wearing a face mask, not earplugs. It's the height of ignorance to be serving customers whilst chatting with colleagues. With your appalling manners and non-existent customer service skills, I would suggest that working with the public isn't for you. Maybe you need to find another job; I hear the mortuaries have plenty of vacancies at the moment. At least your customers wouldn't have to listen to your constant moaning."
"I would give 0 stars but there is no option. Very disappointed! The cashier tried to scam us on reduced price items. Despite of the items scanned correctly, the shopkeeper changed the price manually to the full price. When I questioned her about the bread price, she just pretended that nothing has happened. Watch their hands especially the old woman in bright hair. Disgusting behavior."
"Find a different Post Office! Managed to send a bag full of parcels as standard post despite them having signed for or tracked and signed international barcode stickers already on them and appearing to scan them!! Husband didn't think to double check receipt before leaving the store so now have no tracking as they are already somewhere in the system!! Served by someone who claimed to have been bought in from Meir PO to increase service efficiency, and develop PO - Think you need a new trainer!!!"
