Reviews
"Been for another enjoyable walk around the lake today, we haven't been for a while and was pleasantly surprised by the newly layed car park. It's a great addition to the already nice walk."
"Had a lovely walk with the kids around the lake and nature reserve. It was very nice and everyone loved it."
"Nice little lake for a wander with the dogs and have a picnic. Jet skiers regularly use one end of the lake. It has its own car park too."
"Great nature reserve for peaceful walks, situated close to Premier Inn and Lakeside retail park. Interesting back drop of heavy industry (British Steel) vs lake. Well worth a visit."
"Wonderful place to walk dogs. Wouldn't go as far as calling it a nature reserve as there are very few animals to be seen, same for plants unless you count the common tree. I imagine there are plenty of rabbits burrowed around from the abundance of droppings but altogether a great walk. Takes around 40 minutes to circle the lake if following the trail."
