"Gem of a place. Historic house members get free entry to the garden. Parking is across a country road , so be careful when heading to the entrance. The gardens are beautiful presented with many different types of areas , with streams , ponds (with flamingos) and a bluebell wood. There is an excellent plant nursery on site as well as a large outdoor cafe. Food and staff were all excellent..highly recommended"
"Absolutely loved it here !! Well worth the money £9 Not huge but very well kept and lovely selection of plants . Visited Barnsdale Gardens last week and I would say Coton Manor is far superior ! The garden is peaceful and areas to sit and relax got busier in afternoon. We went in July and the borders looked lovely. The water features /ponds are beautiful look out for the flamingos duck and chickens. I especially liked the woodland ,water and bog garden . Looking forward to going back will buy the season ticket in February next year as it only last till September so not worth it this year .The food was great sour dough baguette was warm a little disappointed with the portion of crisps with it 4/5 crisps in total !! £23 for coffee elderflower drink x2 baguettes ,cheese chutney and home cooked ham salad ! (Average prices ) Well stocked Plant nursery reasonably price good quality plants ! Can visit cafe and nursery for free ! We're told they haven't had a plant sale for years so leaflet was wrong .Very helpful staff who helped us find plants for sale we had seen in the gardens ."
"Beautiful gardens. Go at the end of April,/beginning of May to see the stunning bluebell wood. Loved the ducks, chickens and flamingos. Excellent lunch and cake. Good veggie choices. Well worth the entrance price."
