Thankfully Phil from Novus came to the rescue making good the security/safety issue, arrived promptly with the equipment needed. Perhaps SHA should continue using Novus, false economy using a handyman rather than professionals."

"It took six months for them to asses eligibility for DFG entitlement then went on to evaluate and agree to adaptations and then refused to do the work at all in spite of proving the disabled person was a tenant in the property. This is tantamount to denyng services to a disabled person on the grounds of their disability. A year later and still no works have been done in spite of the tenant nearly dying while waiting for adaptations to be commenced. Avoid using this monopoly company. Use external companies to achieve the same work, often for less cost and greater flexibilty towards assessment of the person's needs. The assessor was not up to the job in the first place and did their utmost to defeat the installation of adaptations from the beginning. I complained about the person but Revival allowed him to interfere with the complaints handling procedure and never assigned another assessor in their place. Horrendously intimidating behaviour. All the local councils need to reconsider their reliance on this company because it is putting lives at risk in secret."
