"Not local but often call in with family for some food when visiting. Very good priced mains, the 2 for 11.50 are limited but most people find something off there. Very well cooked meat and the chips are excellent. Don't always have desserts as they're almost as pricey as a main but very nice eton mess sundaes. Decent choice of a pint. Overall good value everyone is pleased at. No longer close the kitchen for a random period in the afternoon."
"Staff polite, lovely quiet restaurant and food always good. Plenty of parking, seating available outside plus cozy fireplace for a cold evening. Fajitas delicious, mixed grill really tasty and Eton mess to finish. Only markdown was because we tried to get plates taken away for 40minutes but ignored. Will return though"
