"I was very nervous bringing my rabbit for his castration procedure and I received nothing but support and reassurance from all the staff. They rang me the day before his appointment and explained what was going to happen and how to care for my rabbit before hand. I was able to go in with my rabbit whilst they weighed him and did his pre assessment. The nurse explained everything in lots of detail and was happy to answer any questions I had. She explained what would happen so I was aware what my rabbit was going through. As soon as my rabbit had his procedure they rang me to let me know how he was. On collection the reception staff was lovely. The nurse brought fluffy back to me whilst I waited in the waiting area and she explained everything that had happened and how it went. I was provided with medication which I was told and shown how to use. I was provided with leaflets about the surgery and how to do aftercare properly. I was also told to contact them with any concerns whether it’s small or large and they would help me in any way they could. The day after his operation the vets rang me for an update on how he was and there was an email I could contact for any concerns I had which I used and I got a email back very quickly in detail. All the staff was so helpful and reassuring. I could not thank all the staff at stoneferry vets anymore. I am so pleased from start to finish with my experience. I have taken my rabbit to a few vets before and this is the only vets where he comes home calm and they treat him and look after him very well. I wouldn’t take my rabbit anywhere else."
"Dollie, our Cocker Spaniel, needed emergency surgery for a life threatening condition: The vet that we saw was very professional, friendly, efficient and considerate as was the nurse. Dollie's condition and her/our options were explained to us clearly and concisely by the vet. Charges were extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend."
"I always feel that the vets, nurses and even receptionists have the welfare of my pets in mind when taking care of them. I always feel the response is appropriate to the illness and I always feel they act with care and urgency. I'm not sure what more I could do as a pet owner to show my deepest gratitude to the hard work and obviously incredible staff you have at your practice. Please make sure they know they do an amazing job - thank you x"
"My appointment was within a couple of minutes of my time. The vet answered all the questions I asked and explained about the choices of vaccinations. The reception staff were very helpful and helped fill out the forms for the pet plan. Overall quite an enjoyable experience many thanks"
"I have a dog who gets very nervous at the vets and hides in the corner whilst shaking. The vet/nurse was wonderful and sat on the floor with my dog until he was a bit more comfortable with her and she didn’t try to rush him at all. It’s the first time he has let anyone give him a health check and he didn’t even notice the nurse/vet giving him his injections. I was pleasantly surprised with how well the appointment went. Much better than the previous vet’s practice that we use to go to."
