Reviews
"Lovely public gardens next to beach but sheltered from wind coming from sea. Sensory garden."
"This is a beautifully peaceful place. It is well maintained, with no litter, and plenty of seating so that you can just sit and enjoy the tranquility. There is a toilet block near by and the promenade for strolls along the beach front. A great place for a day out."
"Really nice space in a classic seaside town. there is an 18 hole putting green, plenty of seating and water fountain at the western end of the gardens. During the summer months, the flower beds are full of colour and design. All in all, a great place to relax and take in nature."
"Level walking around the perimeter with accessible slopes and shallow steps elsewhere. Limited spring flowers with mostly shrubs. Maintenance of planting is not expert and done in the spirit of neatness rather than what's best for the plants. Biggest asset is the plentiful benches to rest and relax in this green space in either sun or shade. I think Arun could work with community and mental health groups to maintain / increase the variety of planting. Gardening for mindfulness is a well established theory now. Worth a gentle stroll and contemplation in pleasant enough surroundings."
"Right next to road but pretty little bit to walk through. Lots of flowers and a view of the sea. Toilets near by and parking. Cafe in both directions."
