"I have been a student at Saint James School since I was in year 7. I am now a member of the Sixth Form. During my years at Saint James School there have been ups and downs - no school is perfect and every school has its difficulties. In my case, my positive experiences have outweighed any negative experiences that I have had. The teachers are, on the whole, caring and good individuals. The school worked hard to make sure that I did as well as I possibly could in my GCSE Exams and where the school could have done better, they admitted fault and worked to improve themselves. I am able to participate in a variety of extra curricular activities through both house activities which are held during the school day and also through after school activities (such as golf, tennis, sailing). Overall I am happy here. The Sixth form is small and personalised and I am in a leadership role which the senior management and staff take a sincere interest and help me to develop my leadership skills."

The staff are 100% committed to their students going above and beyond any state education equivalent, many of them frequently coming in over the weekend to run extra revision classes or staying late on an evening. The support the staff provide is overwhelming, extending many opportunities and extracurricular activities simply not offered at any equivalent school in the area to all students of all abilities and interests. Due to the close knit nature of the school I have gotten to know the majority of the school community and met many approachable fellow students whose friendships I'm sure will last a lifetime."
