Reviews of Nails4U Stone
"I had my nails done yesterday afternoon and by this morning I have 3 chipped nails again, I will be going back and asking for them to be redone and update on here of the outcome afterwards."
"Nail lady was rude and rough with my hands I felt awkward, nails aren’t even on straight and not the colour I wanted. Only went here because the place always looks quiet compared to the other nail salon. I actually felt sorry for them, but after this time never again."
"Awful experience. Nail tech layered the acrylic on so thick they looked like tomb stones. I had terrible anxiety of what the finished out come would be so I asked her to take them off. They soaked them off un acetone for 30 minutes leaving all the skin peeling off my hands. And then they told me to pay for soaking them off !!! Obviously I did not pay. Terrible experience with all the skin burnt off my hands."
"Me and my little cousin went to have some girl time and her our nails done extremely happy with them"
"AVOID (young boy with cross earring is an horrific person and his nails are god awful!) I visited this “salon” yesterday after booking in via telephone for a full set of acrylic nails and gel Polish on my toes. I left in tears…. My best friend is due to be married soon, I don’t have my nails done due to my job so I thought I would treat myself and book in. I’ve recently moved to the area so was unsure of what was available. Nails 4 u have an Instagram page and the photos looked brilliant so I thought Ide book in. I usually read reviews via Facebook, they advertise a Facebook page in their “salon” however when you search for them nothing is available. Now I see why. I spoke to a male on the telephone who was “short” let’s say however I understand that there is a language barrier. I turned up 15 mins early and was greeted by a young female worker who politely asked I take a seat. The male worker who was doing my nails was having an argument on the telephone outside the building. A young skinny boy, black hair and wearing a hoop earring with a cross dangling from it and neck tattoos.I’m disappointed I didn’t get his name. Wha Once he had finished on the telephone he grunted at me “wash your hands”, “sit here”, “what you want”. I explained I had booked in over the telephone for a full set of acrylics and gel toes. He proceeded to snatch my hands, burn my nails and make my cuticles bleed. I shouldn’t have allowed it but he continued to hurt me and when I pulled my hands away from him he would huff and puff and roll his eyes, forcing my hands back and into an uncomfortable position. He made no effort to engage in conversation. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a relaxing experience and this was far from it. Once he had finished SANDING my natural nail to practically a pulp he grunted again “what shape”. I asked for coffin however as short as he can get them and still achieve the coffin shape. Again, he rolled his eyes and snatched my hand back. He clipped the nails to a length which I wasn’t happy with so I asked for them to be shorter. He replied in an aggravated tone “i do any shorter, no coffin” His body language suggested he was agitated and angry. At this point I was intimidated, uncomfortable and in pain. Once the acrylic was on, he practically threw the colour chart at me. I chose a colour and showed him a picture of the design I wanted. He sighed, threw his hands in the air and mumbled something in his own language to his colleague sat next to him and proceeded to giggle. He said “that £32.” I was getting angry and frustrated and said “if it’s too much of an inconvenience, remove them and I will leave. Again he mumbled something in his language and continued. I should have walked out at this point and not allowed him to carry on and regret that I didn’t. The acrylic was thick and lumpy, it looked like a bulbous swelling on the end of my finger. They were too long, thick, heavy and to be quite frank the most horrific nails I’ve ever seen and defiantly not what I asked for. Once he had finished painting them he said “done” and tapped my hand which I assume is his way of saying now get out. I told him I don’t want my toes painting as I didn’t want to spend another minute in that place. He charged me £33 so an extra £1 than what he said initially. I hesitantly completed a bank transfer whilst he watched over my shoulder. I shouldn’t have paid as I wasn’t happy with the nails but due to being intimidated I paid reguardless. I left in tears with awful nails, bare toes and £33 less. He’s very lucky he wasn’t approached by my partner for a refund and a punch! - DO NOT USE THIS SALON - rude staff - poor quality nails - dirty, hostile environment. Never again will I be setting foot in that hole. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Learn some manners, customer service and nail skills!!!!!!!!!!"
