Reviews of The New Adelphi Club
"This place is great, carl ( bar staff) is really pleasant to talk to and they allow food to bought in on open mic nights, go there on a Monday for a calming yet ravishing experience."
"If you're into bands and all the cultural things that come with that, it's a place like no other. A truly 'have to go there once' experience. It's bigger than it looks, quirky and the beer is good enough. But saying that. it's out the way in a rough area, it used to be the student area but it's nothing like that any more and it's falling apart. But that's by design. it's not in any way trying to be anything other than itself. So take it as it is, enjoy it, because there's nowhere else like it. I've been there 2, 3 times and have enjoyed it. But it's full on."
"Back in Hull and back at the Adelphi! First time at the venue in a couple of decades and it’s as good a venue as ever. Good small venue, excellent sound, great vibe. Excellent night out supporting local band. Will be back soon"
"First trip to this legendary indie venue. Unlikely location on a street of terraced houses it is a very small venue but it was perfect for the band I was seeing. Great sound and reasonably priced proper beer - no complaints from me."
"One of the best music venues in the land. Gotta experience the Adelphi! Don't expect anything posh. Just a good old fashioned music venue."
