"Terrible service. Needed multiple reminders, didn’t show on at least one occasion. Took money on a guarantee he’d be back to complete job but stopped replying to messages - despite passing our property multiple times a day. Poor workmanship, didn’t so much as hoover up dust from drilling but was very keen to tell us about a fancy mansion he was currently working at. I guess we weren’t important enough for him to do a good job. Avoid."

"Arranged some work to be done week commencing 13.09.22 approx 4 days work I emailed a few days before to check arrival time and to confirm I had all the items needed etc to be told his wife is in hospital. Fair enough he says he will come the next week instead. Waited no email did not turn up I didn’t even bother chasing as looking at reviews he has done this to a couple of people and on his fb he shows pictures of jobs he did when he was supposed to be at mine. Seems if a bigger job comes along he will just go with that and not bother with what he has booked in already."

"Not so helpful Handy Andy! He first quoted before Christmas but said he couldn't start till 4th of February. The day before he messaged to say he had fallen down the stairs and hurt his back so needed a week's rest. Fair enough we were happy to wait under the circumstances. He told us he would contact us again on 14th. I then saw him in his van on 9th of February so obviously not resting for a week. During the week of the 14th we chased many times as he wasn't answering our calls and eventually he said he would do the work today 23rd of February. I asked him the day before roughly what time work would commence and he didn't reply. He didn't turn up again today. Handy Andy is totally unreliable and best avoided!"

"Andy has been an absolute godsend and I can not recommend him enough! As the owner of an Airbnb property (and unable due to the pandemic to be at the cottage) Andy has come to my rescue - and that of my renters - on a number of occasions. He has the ingenuity to not only fix a problem but resolve something with the utmost professionalism; having now fixed kitchen leaks, repainted and plastered, fixed damaged guttering, replaced rotten outside wooden doors and resolved a mystery chimney problem which meant him rebuilding my chimney and part roof. He is reactive, timely and even sends me pics and videos which helps considerably when you can't be onsite. He is also very efficient and very reasonable in price for the work undertaken. "I emailed Andy and he replied within 24 hours. I had a number of issues in my flat including reattaching a cupboard door, filling in some holes and painting. He was quick and the cost was reasonable. Very happy with the results."
