Pret A Manger

"We popped in for a cake and coffee. The cake selection was limited so had a croissant which was nice. We ordered two flat whites. When we got them to the table and took off the lid's they were just white coffees. I took them back and the so called barista made two more, they were so hot I could not even carry them, I asked again to have the remade as these were not flat whites. He made them again and as he handed them the another member of staff to give them to me he said out loud "two flat whites, again" These were better but not really flat whites. The staff looked unorganized and not customer focused. I owned a coffee shop for 13 years so I know how to make coffee. We always use Pret over other chains but this was so disappointing. It felt like Pret only care about volume and not quality."

"We had ham and cheese toastie, the best we've had (we tried the same at a few high street coffee shops)... Plenty of ham and lovely balance with cheese and mustard. When it comes to serving the drinks, it's a bit chaotic! They don't do it by order, it's each drink and no names shouted so if two people ordered the same drink, it's clearly not served in order so you could be getting your drink quite a bit later than when you placed the order... We had a few drinks ordered and it was drip fed which was annoying"

"Lovely choice of food selections. Good quality ingredients. I'm more of a cold drinks guy myself, and their choices from juices, water, and cold teas are great and delicious. Lovely service, even when it's busy. Always enjoy coming here."
