"Pickering is so lucky to have its own little theatre which is run by volunteers. Musical shows are produced regularly and other occasional shows such as musical entertainer impersonators ie Elvis and Dolly Parton and drama productions. It has comfortable seating, clean and well functioning toilets, a sweet counter and a bar. A delightful asset to the town."

"Kirk Theatre, I was given an invitation to go and enjoy tea, coffee and cake etc. Obviously the locals trying to raise money to keep the Theatre open. Very friendly and welcoming people, with good Beveridge's and cakes on offer. Shame they can't get funding? Elvis had been that night before, but when we arrived, he had left the building. Please go, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to the members for a good afternoon."
