"The Halfway had lost their way for a period of time. It was a pleasant surprise to be greeted by a refurbished decor. The staff were smartly dressed in black and very pleasant. The food was really good at a reasonable price. We were really pleased that we tried it again. Diane the manageress was very attentive to everyone’s needs. We would recommend everyone to try the updated Halfway House."
"The food was lovely, the staff were great, the venue was spotless and the entertainment was better than we expected. The Halfway deserves a REALLY SPECIAL MENTION for the fabulous gluten free selection. "We had our wedding reception here last week and it was incredible! Caorlan was amazing and so helpful and made it all very easy to organise particularly as my previous venue had cancelled with 6 weeks notice! The food was delicious and ALL of the staff (right down to the prep cooks) were very helpful and friendly at every stage of the process and made everything run smoothly on the night. We will definitely be returning regularly now we know what a hidden gem the halfway house is!"
