"There was a blonde bar girl who was very rude, we had a table area booked for 20pm and had paid in advance for a round of drinks, she tried to say we hadn't a booking and needed proof, when she was given this she proceeded to directed us to a cold closed area and it took 1.5hrs to get the drink we ordered, we asked one of the other bar staff who tried to help with our issue and when he went to her she then winked at him and said ' oh ya, no worries I'm on it' just so disrespectful, the place was busy ill agree but don't accept business and not provide a service!!!"
"Fantastic place. Just back from a hen weekend for my sister. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, special shout out to Dean for looking after us, real gentleman. The door staff are very friendly & professional. The nightclub was fantastic, great music and atmosphere. Thanks for making our weekend so memorable."
"AVOID! Popped in for a drink before xmas and left an expensive jacket on the premises. Spoke with the barman (Jim) the following day, who quickly located it and put it somewhere safe for collection. Drove up fron Dublin the following week - jacket was nowhere to be found and the staff were unconcerned about locating it. If you are thinking of a drink there in the future, recommend leaving all your valuables at home!"
"Cracking wee pub, buttressing Taaffes castle. Friendly bar staff and a great pint of Guinness. Full of interesting nik naks from olden days. Food served tho didn't partake. Quirky and consequently Irish with a lovely , warm vibe."
"Awesome place. Lots of history. Great ambiance. Large amount of draft beer choices. Food is offered as well. Ellen was a great host. Bar is built around a castle. Outstanding! Prices are slightly high, but it's worth the trip."
