"Nice place for a Sunday walk"
"Great place to explore went with the family the old quarry is cool and lots of lovely little memorial pics and carvings in stone"
"Lovely woodland walk that’s ideal for dog walkers, families and those who enjoy exploring. The woodlands feature a large Obelisk which commemorates Prince Consort Alberts visit to Banchory Devenick House, and is inscribed with “In remembrance of the visit of H.R.H. Albert Prince Consort to this spot XV sept MDCCCLIX (15th September 1859)”. Tollohill also has a Neolithic aged Short Cist and remains of a small Ring-Cairn, just south of the Obelisk, which was first recorded in 1994, and would be around 2,000-4,000 years old."
