Reviews of St Patrick Centre, Downpatrick
"Extremely interesting and good information about Co Down, and relaxing in their restaurant. Most definitely worth a visit."
"We had regularly been here for lunch and, until recently, have recommended it to friends. Don't feel I can do that any longer. After we arrived, we had to wait for ages to place our order. The waitress was too busy chatting to people she obviously knew and we were ignored. She eventually asked another girl to take our order. The lady at the next table who had walked in behind us, was starting her meal as we placed our order. The background noise was horrendous. A radio station was being played through speakers at high volume which meant customers had to speak louder. It was so bad that when I went to pay, the girl on the till couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear her as a speaker was directly overhead. This is always for the staff, never the customers. It's a pity as we used to enjoy going there for lunch. Now it appears to have turned into just another 'caff'."
"Just went in to buy a birthday gift. Great selection of Irish inspired jewellery and the usual aaran and tweed and assorted gifts. Friendly staff, well worth a visit."
"Very informative experience and the audio in each section enhances the exhibit (and is available in several languages). Lovely shop and cafe with some outside seating. Staff in each area were friendly and helpful."
