"Delightful old skool family run corner shop of which there aren't many left. This little piece of 'Good Old Days' history run by genuine people who care about the community. In all truth the characters and stories that seem drawn to this impromptu 'meeting place' could have written much of the script of 'Open all Hours'. I live out of the County now far away and on a recent return after 10 years I was surprised and delighted to see it still open. Sadly there doesn't appear to be a next generation to take it on, so 'when its gone, its gone!'"

"This shop is very cute and has a real local independent vibe to it. The staff who's usually in there, probably the owner, is always pleasant although not overly friendly. The availability and range of products is good considering the shops size. The products are good quality from what I've seen.
