"Dropped in today with my son to find out about the castle tour. What a really lovely experience. Had a wonderful chat with Liam and later on with Leonora and Aine I think too. Lovely people and a credit to Carlingford!! Congrats to you all."
"Loads of information on what to do and where to go in this beautiful area. Well worth a visit!"
"A very helpful lady provided much local history, pointed us in the direction of the heritage centre that provides much local history and set us up with a 3pm tour of Carlingford/King Johns castle. Gerry from the Tourist Office provided a very interesting and informative tour of Carlingford/King Johns castle."
"It looks good but can't really say anymore about it as it is shut for the winter. It's a fine building though."
"The area is stunning - but the Tourist office is not so good with my experience . Closed on Sunday! I could not believe it - a tourist office that is closed during the busiest day of the week for visitors? No cheap paper maps outside for people visiting while the office was closed. I came back on a Monday. Staff had not visited the sites for a long time (if at all). They need to get outside and explore the area more. They try to sell maps, so ask for the Free ones! Very commercial. You learn more by talking to the hill walkers."
