Reviews of Arts Theatre
"Quaint, compared to other West End theatres, but an enjoyable venue/visit none the less. Because the theatre is quite small, I think you could probably get away with purchasing cheaper seats and still get a good view. Didn’t buy any drinks from the bar, but prices seemed reasonable. All the staff I met were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely visit this theatre again."
"Great theatre (we saw "Six" there) with decent seating throughout. Staff was friendly, show was punctual, getting in and out was fairly easy. Close to the Leicester Square station (and not far from the Covent Garden one too)."
"'All I need in this life of sin, is me and my girlfriend Down to ride 'til the very end, it's me and my boyfriend....' This classic didn't feature in the show but soon as hear the words Bonnie and Clyde this song does pop into my head. The show was enjoyable, some dramatic moments...oh boy the slap...wait for the slap. You will be cheering, you will see why. The songs were nicely sung and well performed. Like most theatres the seating needs updating it is too cosy, you have to squeeze past people to get to your seat. This leaves the tricky task of not spilling your wine. Sorry to the lady in front me, hopefully she thought it was rain..ooops. Also no holders to put it down. Bar staff were friendly, I would recommend getting the a bit earlier as the queue for drinks was a bit long. Overall a pretty excellent night out for a solo adventure."
"Very nice venue with some unusual seating available : I recommend side benches on the balcony! They are usually cheaper and if you sit there you get a chance to see a bit of "behind the scenes" action on the side of the stage. It does get quite hot in the balcony during the show so it's good to bring a fan."
"A very intimate venue, doesn’t have the same level of decor most west end venues have. Black walls and floors and the bar space is relatively small but they always put on a good show. The rake of the seats is good in the stalls but the offset could be improved. The staff are always lovely and due to the size of the theatre no matter where you sit you feel connected and close to the stage. Overall a lovely little venue!"
