"I visited the hotel to celebrate a friends birthday with afternoon tea. It's a ritual I love and I've sampled afternoon tea all over the world, but this, in my opinion, was the best so far. The food, both savoury and sweet, was delicious (especially that black pudding bon bon) and the service was impeccable. I can't help comparing the experience with afternoon tea on the Queen Mary II which was enjoyable, but really didn't live up to the hype. The Meldrum House Hotel's afternoon tea is most definitely better! We were told that the menu was new for winter, so if you've already been there for afternoon tea, don't worry, you can do it again for an all new experience! As I have limited mobility at the moment I was especially grateful to the staff who found a wheelchair I could use as the walk (which is not particularly long) was too much for me. Everyone was so considerate, it was a really lovely experience and I very much look forward to visiting again."

"Great lace out in the country side to come visit for a relaxing few days. The staff is very friendly and will do everything they can make your visit stress free. Parking on site, breakfast, lunch and dinner is available, with a two different options for lunch and dinner. Golf course was in great shape, and fun to play. They have a driving range, putting and chipping center to warm up in. There is a distillery near by, however, it’s small and yours sell out in advance. I would book early if you want to go."

"We never stayed the night at Meldrum House, but we hired one of the domes for a lunch and it was fantastic! Great service, & great experience, definitely worth the money. The food was great too. It was for a birthday so definitely reccomend for a special event :)"

"Visited the hotel for a work meeting. The buildings themselves were stunning and the grounds was well kept. Facilities during the day were OK and staff were friendly and courteous. The food during the evening was OK but only average and not reflective of the stunning venue but not bad either. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean. The bar had a great selection of whisky however we were not exactly made to feel the most welcome by the staff in the bar and by 10pm it was felt as though they simply wanted us to leave even though we were residents. Breakfast was really good and great quality meat however again the service was lacking in efficiency with us waiting over half an hour to get served however its appreciated that they were busy. Overall the venue is fantastic and I would certainly recommend it to a friend"
