Reviews of The Duke Of Buckingham
"Cheap and cheerful. Rooms weren't too bad, some areas need a bit of repair, but nothing major. Felt clean and well kept otherwise. Good location!"
"We had a very nice overnight stay. The staff deserve five stars. Courteous pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and welcoming. No ensuite, but that's not a complaint. The facilities were of a very good standard. We would unreservedly recommend giving them your custom."
"Reception and housekeeping were very polite and welcoming. We stayed in a family room in the cottage. The room was clean and facilities were plentiful. The only downside is that the floor above us had the creakiest floorboards I’ve ever heard. They disturbed my wife and I on both nights we stayed. Other than that though a very pleasant stay."
"It's ok for a few nights Stay. When we turned up on a Friday night, we was given a map of where we was allowed to park and to place a info in the car that we are here to stay. that was alright. When we was told we would be staying in the cottage around the back, i thought that was great, we can come and go as we please. the room was cosy and had everything we need for a few nights. but as soon as a couple a above us come in at 11pm things changed. the walls are EXTREMELY thin, to the point you can hear everything......EVERYTHING. me and partner couldn't help but laugh. but its when the men Started walking around he was very Heavy footed stomping around above us at early hours of the morning. nothing we could. but the place could be a bit more sound proofing from each other. the location was great, the service was friendly."
"The Room was pretty clean and Staff were super friendly and welcoming upon arrival and exit. The only downfalls were the Duvet Cover itself and Duvet Set being quite heavily stained. You could hear most other guests, as rooms were so compact together. Other guests tvs can be heard, along with each foot step and others conversations. Otherwise I couldn’t fault the place. It was nice to see the spinnaker tower, from our room, at night lit up. Also we were upgraded unknowingly, which was a nice thing to do. Thank you. We will probably return in the near future."
