"We have always been with hawthorne Lodge and in the main been quite satisfied with the services there . However losing our beloved yogi on a bank holiday was one of the worst experiences we've had . Yogi passed away at home at 10pm new years day and the out of hours service provided by hawthorne Lodge are in Coventry. After speaking to Coventry on the phone we were told to move yogis body to a cool place over night . We had to move our boy to the garage over night retrieve his body in the morning and drive him to Coventry. This was obviously very very upsetting . No one can predict the illness or passing of a pet and if this falls on a holiday I feel the service provided is completely unacceptable. If we are to get another dog we definitely will not be staying with hawthorne"

Today my worst nightmare came true,I found one of our cats deceased after my night shift. She was only just 3 years old. We took her to the vets.
