"Generally the service has been okay, receptionist is helpful. However, twice now they have got one of my horses vaccinations wrong. The day she was supposed to have her 2nd jab for flu, the vet read the date on the batch number of the 1st jab as the date due rather than looking at the actual date section, so she left and didn't give the 2nd flu jab. (My partner dealt with the vet that day as I had work) I assumed the vet would be competent and do what was needed regarding the 2nd flu jab, which wasn't done until a few days or so later, when they realised their mistake. Today I was working and a family member told me the vet was here, was confused as the next flu jab isn't due until 6 months after the 2nd. They tried to say the rules have changed, which they haven't (have double checked) This has made me lose faith in this practice for any treatments and would only use again for clipping."
"I organized a vetting for a new horse, and as I am not in the same area, asked Fellows Farm to carry it out. The lady whom I spoke to when I enquired was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. The vetting was carried out on time and was very thorough. The vet rang me and went through all her findings there and then. I was very pleased with the service I received and can happily recommend Fellowes Farm."
"I have been a client for 7 years and even though I’ve moved more North now, an hour away, I still use Fellowes Farm and travel my horse to them if need be! All the staff are helpful and quick at getting any orders out to me via post and very sufficient! Richard Meers is my vet and I could never change that! He has been brilliant with my horse! I feel like a VIP client now! Everything is explained well! Phone calls/emails returned straight away! My horse is very well cared for by the team! Mr Meers you can never leave!! Very trustworthy and honest! Super Vets!!! Thank you for all your help throughout the years!! Highly recommend!"
"I have used Fellows Farm for over 25 years. They have an amazing team of vets who are very dedicated to providing the best quality of care to their clients horses. They are always at the end of a phone to answer any questions and regally hold client evenings giving presentations on health issues. The vets are backed up by an incredibly knowledgeable team of nurses and super efficient friendly receptionists. Each horse in their care is treated as a superstar no matter how valuable. When my very nervous and sensitive donkey had to be put down at short notice, they rearranged their whole day to ensure that the vet who came was the one the donkey was used to so his last moments were relaxed and peaceful. There is much more that could be said about how good a practice they are but you are best finding out for yourselves."
