"Clean but it's never stocked, packing trolleys always all over the place, pallets just dumped in the middle of isles. They don't care about the customers here. Everyone is a suspect for theft. Self checkout where you do their job for them is a complete nightmare, you wait at least 5 minutes for a member of staff to come assist you if anything goes wrong and then you get someone who is in another universe."
"Waterlooville store is the worst on the planet. As soon as my yearly pass ends, I’m off to Sainsbury’s. Todays order turned up but they forgot to leave our frozen goods. Phoned Asda Waterlooville but if you say your a customer at automated prompt, you get told to go online (which is also a waste of time) then they cut you off. So I pretended to be a supplier and got through to someone who put me through to online one. I was then promised my order would either be delivered by the original crew or it would be delivered by someone else or failing that the person on the phone would deliver on her way home. Now 1900 hours and I have just phoned the store - xt 240 and no reply. We have a time slot of 0900 - 1000 and across the year we have had them turn up anywhere from 0830 til gone 11. Once, they didn’t even bother turning up and I had to go to the store. APPALLING SERVICE THAT I CANNOT WAIT TO LEAVE. Tasha, my shopping is now sorted after I had to phone up the following day to speak to the person who promised me that she would get my missing items out. Once again, trying to speak to someone as a customer is impossible. This time I pressed 2 - a colleague of Asda and Hey Presto someone answered. Asda’s customer care has really gone downhill in the last couple of years. I have sent a letter to the CEO to see if he will end my nightmare by refunding the remaining 3 months on my shopping pass so I can go to a supplier who appreciate me as a customer."
"Hi I would like to recommend Pat in your optical department for a good service award if you have such a thing. I visited just under a year ago for two pairs of glasses only to find that they didn’t really fit comfortably but soldiered on. It got to the point that I couldn’t continue putting up with the discomfort so I decided to go back. After speaking to Pat she said that they are not the right size frame and then proceeded to help me choose replacements to which I am truly grateful. I’m now looking forward to getting my new glasses. Well done Pat"
"Very disappointed today that my Blue light discount was refused at the self check out for a total discount of ....... £3! A lady named Wendy, who was apparently the manager, was extremely rude to me when I tried to clarify why the discount was denied. I had provided proof of my blue light card on the app alongside my card I was using on the Barclays app with the exact same name on both. I was told that I have to have a physical bank card in order to obtain the discount and told to check the terms and conditions in a very sarcastic manner. I even showed Wendy my bank account, she looked at the details including the name and amount in my account and STILL declined with the excuse that 'I still need to see your physical card'. Overall, pretty disgusted at the woman's attitude. Management should be approachable and welcoming - not patronising and sarcastic towards customers. It wasn't the discount that annoyed me the most, it was the dismissive attitude - I'd like to think that in this cost of living crisis, when someone is proving their entitlement to a discount that is just £3, that the person would not be humiliated and refused. Nice one asda."
"Click and collect was an awful experience. Rude and very grumpy lady who couldn't be bothered to help. Luckily a lovely lady called Donna came to my rescue and went out of her way to help me."
