"Food and staff are good, but felt the place needs a good clean and decorate. Menus have spillages and not wipeable. The tables and chairs need upgrading as in a poor state. It doesnt look fresh or clean. Shame really as like i say the food and staff are great."
"Last minute change of venue to dine and WOW. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive but not in your face. There is an amazing set menu with lots of dishes that have been tried and tested plus a specials board. We both had the beef bourguignon from the specials board which was amazing and they even catered for our individual vegetable choices. Definitely a go to pub which has a lovely friendly locals vibe to it."

We live local so decided we wanted to bring some friends here to , even though they live in Waterlooville and don't drive we did a round trip to bring them . I've had the liver both times and it was delicious..... Would definitely recommend....."
