"I booked for my brake lights for my Mini Cooper to be fitted as they had both gone, the fella after15/20mins said he couldn’t do it as the rear left light pins had tightened n seized up, and that he couldn’t do the other side because the cd player that’s fitted to the boot flooring was in the way, so I got a refund and went to my local garage, he took the complete fixtures out, changed the bulbs with no hassle and only charged me £5 and all inside of 20mins, and he said the pins were not seized at all they were only clipped and that it was no problem if you take whole part out and clip back in the whole fixture , Halfords staff clearly didn’t know there are other ways into bulb fixtures,I will not be using them again! However they were polite and did refund me hence only 2 stars !!"

"Crooked. Put in asking for two front brake pads at 9am number to call when ready for collection. At 5pm no call, I rang and the call centre noted it was ready. Collecting to find a quote for£88 and no work done as requested. They "assessed" a need for £55 service and replace chain - absolutely not required. Young man unable to do anything with bike so bought brakepads and will fit ourselves under increased time pressure having had Halfords waste a day. Scandalous service and I will not use this Crooked firm again."
"Thought I would try click & collect, ordered online and paid for them waited for my email and text msg to say my items were ready for collection so after 4hrs I used the tracking service to see my items were ready. Drove to Havant asked an assistant wheee I had to go to ge advised the till at the front of the store, went to the till assistant contacted the person I had asked where to collect my goods from who then came to the till to find them for me he disappeared for 5mins then came with my goods to tell me there was another 2pence to pay. At this point I had been in the store narky 20mins it would be quicker to just turn up and buy the goods. After being asked for an additional 2p I asked for a refund and leave the goods I was charged aprice online and paid for the goods end of our contract dont turn around and tell me I need to pay more. After the assistant talking to someone else on his headset he explained there was in fact a system glitch and nothing else was to be paid, 25 mins later I left, won't use that ordering process again thats for sure."
"Had a very good shopping experience at this store today. Staff very friendly and helpful. Needed new windscreen wipers which the staff picked (selecting the reasonably priced ones), fitted before charging me, then got me to test to make sure all was ok before walking away. Such a pleasant and refreshing change from the norm."
