"I had been a patron of the old restaurant for nye on 40 years and was never disappointed. This evening was my first visit under the new management, to say I was underwhelmed would be putting it mildly. I ordered a beef curry with fried rice takeaway. The order was fulfilled very quickly (within 5 minutes) the lady who took my order was Northern Irish and very pleasant and professional. When I arrived home I plated up my meal. The fried rice was light and fluffy with hints of fried egg but that is where it ended with regards to quality. The curry itself was a stodgy mess of over cooked beef, poorly tasting curry sauce and onions only! I mean to say, I know ingredients are expensive in these post-brexit times but surely a few pea's or mushrooms wouldn't make the difference between profit and loss. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and visit again but as of this evening I'm not a happy camper."
