"The food here is delicious, really well cooked and presented. So good to have a proper seafood selection that wasn't covered in batter or breadcrumbs! The salsa and accompaniment went so well with the fish and made the meal special. My husband asked for a medium rare steak, and it arrived, perfectly cooked, well rested, tender, and hot. Good selection of drinks and a decently priced, comprehensive wine list. All the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The decor, though, it's like a cafe that's made a bit of effort, with plastic leaf curtains and dated decor. Aloha is very popular, but the look is off-putting if you aren't in the 'know'. We read the reviews and took a chance. So very glad we did. We will recommend and return."
"Average food It was the only place open for miles on a Sunday evening that serves vegan food, so hats off for offering vegan food in an area that clearly needs it. But a fair bit of work is needed for the vegan options to be decent, I had sizzling fajita vegetables that weren't sizzling at all when they came, tasted of very little and seemed to be almost boiled they had that much water in them. Really these should be charred, mex seasoned and arrive actually sizzling. It just wasn't great The options are very basic overall, mainly just chopped vegetables with optional cheese. Whereas the options could be things like spicy cauli wings, corn ribs, burrito bowl, with quality topping like corn kernels and pink pickles etc. Generally, things could be a bit more interesting and better quality The staff were very polite and accommodating The atmosphere was good with background music and a good view from the windows over the ocean"
"We have been coming to Brid for years and for the time Aloha has been open we keep saying we need to go and try it. Well tonight was the night and my only regret is that we hadn't been ages ago. My wife phoned and booked and the staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. When we arrived we were shown straight to our table and then given just the right amount of time to pick drinks, we had a hard time choosing meals as there is a lot of choice, but it all sounds amazing! The staff were more than happy to give us the time we needed and checked back regularly until we were ready. We settled on the Yaka Tori skewers ( I chose the king prawn version, Hawaiin sauce and salad side. ) And the wife had the Korean chicken with sweet potato fries. The food came surprisingly quickly and we were not disappointed. It's hard to fry a pepper right (that came with the skewers) so you get a soft pepper with still a bit of crunch but they were perfect. Both dishes were outstanding. The Hawaiian sauce was a touch spicy (how I like food) and so full of flavour, but it was nothing compared to the sauce with the Korean chicken. That just was something else. Unfortunately we were too full to try the deserts but the ones coming out looking amazing. The staff were very attentive, friendly and so patient with us and our kids, they had the kids chicken nuggets and the kids burrito which they ate all of (both picky eaters) and loved it all. Really made our evening and we will most certainly be back again now we enjoyed it so much! Great work to all at Aloha!"
"Just had a meal here tonight The starter special was superb the ribs just fell off the bone, the peppers were excellent and some lovely chicken wings T bone steak was as good as I have eaten anywhere with the biggest chips ever. A truly lovely night out . Brilliant attentive staff If I could give 6 stars I would"
"We popped in at 4pm and we so lucky to get a table , they were fully booked and only had one spot open. The food is terrific .. can't say enough about the quality of the cooking . I had the 1/2 chicken 1/2 ribs , my wife had the aloha ocean pie .. she said it's very very good .. and.shew a bit picky about food lol she's a chef ..but she absolutely Loved her dish. Parking my be a bit of a challenge .. but there is parking around , we parked on the waterrount and walked 4min to the restaurant. Overall ..highly highly recommend! Note ..to make sure that you get a table I would highly recommend prebooking .. however don't book online as they are only taking in-person or phone bookings."
