Gainsborough Primary and Nursery School
About the Business
Gainsborough Primary and Nursery School is a dynamic institution that strives to provide an outstanding education to children from the local community. Our school is located on Belgrave Rd, Crewe, in the heart of the United Kingdom, making it easily accessible for families living in the area.
As a primary school, we are committed to catering to the needs of our young learners and creating an inclusive learning environment. Our team of experienced teachers work tirelessly to ensure that every child is motivated, challenged and engaged in their academic pursuits. We use a curriculum that is designed to foster a love of learning while also offering academic rigour.
Our aim is to instill in our students the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will allow them to become responsible, caring and successful members of society. We encourage them to participate in a range of extra-curricular activities, such as sports, music and drama, to help them develop their talents and interests.
At Gainsborough Primary and Nursery School, we understand the importance of early childhood education in shaping the foundation for future learning. Our nursery offers a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 3 and 4 years old. Here, we focus on play-based learning that allows children to explore and discover the world around them. This helps them to develop key skills such as communication, socialisation and problem-solving.
We are proud to be a point of interest in the local community and welcome visitors to come and see what we have to offer. If you are considering enrolling your child at Gainsborough Primary and Nursery School, we would be delighted to show you around and answer any questions you may have.

"Do not recommend. Horrible experience! They threat with “the law” all the time even if the law says the compulsory age to start school is 5. They don’t have empathy for the child and family, the staff are rude, the school is not welcoming. My son started school after the beginning of the school year and I couldn’t meet his teacher. It was his first time in a school ever. They didn’t care. It’s “school policy”. You couldn’t take your child to the classroom, you have to leave them in a gate and they go by themselves, which would be fine if they already knew the environment, the process and all. They have terrible management and they shouldn’t have been dealing with kids. His teacher was adorable, but that was the only thing nice about this school. They don’t try to talk, they don’t try to understand, they just threat. They tell you how you have to deal with your child that doesn’t want to come to the school (I wonder why), they don’t try to welcome your child and family, they just don’t care. It is what it is. Accept it no matter what, they don’t care. I do not recommend. Thank God my son got a place in another school which all the staff are kind and sweet specially with my child (even the parents), the teacher is amazing and does the best for my child, they let me meet the teacher before he had started school, I can leave him everyday at the classroom, I have full access to speak with his teacher, they are comprehensive and have empathy for the kids and family."
