"Previously, we thought the fish and chips at Mother Kelly's were pretty good, however, on our last visit, our meals weren't great. Even so, we gave them another try tonight, but our fish (the batter) was burnt, and the chips were barely warm. The service was a bit off as well - I'd say they need a more personable employee up front. She did her best but is either not a natural at it, or very new and needs more training. Last time we will go; we'd rather drive another 10 minutes into Fareham and get cod and chip there instead."
